I have worked on high-rise set-out, cadastral, subdivision and detail surveys, in the field and in the office. My background is civil engineering, studied in Germany. In my own time I designed, built and tested SurveyMarkup, which turns common end-of-job survey checks into software anyone can try.

One person, one codebase, tested hard.

I designed the survey maths, the QA rules, the API, the browser tools and the deployment, built them with AI coding assistants, and reviewed and tested every change like production software.
